Featuring BARQ, HAWK, HARBOURING OCEANS

BIG GIANT HEAD TOUR comes to Ireland and the UK this Spring. Brought to you by Veta Records, Big Giant Head Tour is a showcase of three of the best emerging Irish acts: HAWK, BARQ and Harbouring Oceans. Spanning agro-soul, art-rock and shoegaze grunge, the bands are big fans of one another and the collaboration is hoped to introduce music fans to exciting new sounds that they might otherwise miss out on.

There is no headliner for this tour. Just one BIG GIANT HEAD.

HAWK - Grunge-filled indie, via Galway, London and Berlin. With activism at the core, HAWK have an abrasive edge, teamed with celestial vocals to create a driving, expansive sound. “Simply sublime – sharp post-punk riffs akin to Warpaint’s clearer moments or Savages’ smoggier ones.” - The Line of Best Fit BARQ are a high energy 4-piece, shoving groove into the belly of the rockbeast and creating agrosoul. This is music to dance dangerously to. "BARQ stopped me in my tracks, delivering a tight set of psychedelic R&B influenced rock. They were positively mesmerising to watch." - Hot Press Harbouring Oceans take a very loose, contemporary approach to genre boundaries, incorporating elements from alt-pop, soul, jazz, and electronica into their rock foundations. "Harbouring Oceans are on the cusp on stardom... Get ready to be impressed." - Hot Press
