Clavish is making a name as one of the UK’s fastest rising rap stars of the next generation. Since he burst onto the scene in 2017 with his viral freestyle “Spin Out His Skull”, from the gate Clavish has been showcasing an idiosyncratic flow and natural cadence that has potential to cement him as a major player in rap on a global scale. Thus, following his well received debut freestyle, Clavish capitalized on the buzz he’d created in 2018, by securing a GRM Daily premiere in which he reworked the track, renaming it “All These Funds”, which today sits at 2.5million views on YouTube.
In 2019, the rapper had another promising year, building momentum with consistent drops such as “Again'' and “100mph Freestyle”, before he was plucked by Kenny Allstar for his debut “Mad About Bars” freestyle on the viral rap platform Mixtape Madness. At the same time, across his discography, Clavish continued to build on his artistic character, delivering catchy flows to the tune of trap-style beats, over which he would often rap about the struggles of being from the hood, his ambitions for a better life, and his hustler mentality.
In 2021, Clavish returned in style with his breakout single “How It Goes”, as well as another massive co-sign from Kenny Allstar with his “Generals Corner” freestyle. Later that year, Clavish flexed his versatility with two massive co-signs, the first a feature on Fredo’s “Independence Day” on the track “Mind”, and the second with a feature on UK rap heavyweight Nine’s No.1 album “Crabs In A Bucket”; on which he opens the track “All Stars 2” with an impeccable verse, alongside heavy hitters such as Frosty, Q2T and Chappo CSB. In December of 2021, he dropped his widely successful debut EP 2022.
In 2022, Clavish has come back strong to appease his burgeoning fanbase with singles “Sold Out Dates”, “No Interview” and “Greece”; which has contributed towards him garnering over 600k monthly listeners on Spotify. Now, having been nominated as The Rated Awards’ “Breakthrough Artist Of The Year”, as well as teasing new music on the horizon before the years’ end, it’s safe to say that Clavish is solidifying himself as a force to be reckoned with in rap music. With Rap Game Awful arrive 13th January next year, things are only getting started.
