Conor is a 21 year old up and coming independent singer/songwriter from Dublin that is about to take the Irish music scene by storm.
Conor's first EP ‘For When I’m Not Around’ was released on the 21st of August. The EP comprises of 7 songs including his recently released single ‘Ecstasy Fantasy’ which has been highly critiqued by outlets such as Hotpress Magazine, Nailler9 and Golden Plec.
“The title was inspired by my desire and goal to provoke thought through my music and create songs that can outlast myself. I see this debut E.P as a testament to the persistence you need to have if you want to create something in the music industry. The last three years have been tough trying to find the right producer with the right style that suited what I wanted to create. After many failed encounters, I ended up getting into music production and developed the tracks myself, giving me the freedom I always wanted.
Since this E.P consists of songs from my development as an artist, there are tracks that take from different genres.. When writing the lyrics for these songs and for any music I write I like to delve into emotions that mean something to me and to try to stay away from love or heartbreak as much as I can. It can be quite daunting writing openly about your feelings as a young man in modern society, but hey, someone’s gotta do it "
