HamsandwicH are delighted to announce two intimate acoustic shows in Dublin’s Unitarian Church on St. Stephen’s Green taking place Friday, May 22nd and Saturday, May 23rd, 2020. This is the band’s third appearance in the iconic Dublin landmark and follows the band’s sold-out Irish tour at the end of 2019 which included two memorable sold-out nights in Whelans.
The band will be releasing brand new music in the coming months and are excited to be debuting these songs live on the night as well as performing many HamsandwicH classics as well as rarities. The band chose the Unitarian Church to roll out the new material because of its intimate atmosphere and idyllic setting right in the heart of Dublin city.
HamsandwicH have been one of Ireland’s most steady indie band’s over the years as many music acts and trends have come and gone. Not only has HamsandwicH survived but have thrived as the band prepare to release their fourth album this Autumn. Join Niamh, Podge, and Darcy and their cohorts for a memorable night of music within an entrancing atmosphere.
One of Ireland’s most enthralling live acts in recent times, Kells, Co. Meath band HamsandwicH are well known for their incendiary live performances which has established them as one of the top touring acts in the country. Featuring their signature calling card of Niamh Farrell's powerful yet sweet vocal, Podge McNamee's juxtaposing baritone, and Darcy’s soaring guitar riffs, if ever there was a band to feed off their audience it is HamsandwicH; melodic, hook-laden, and heart-warmingly charming.
Having sold out Dublin’s prestigious Olympia Theatre three times, supported Arcade Fire and The Pixies, played on the main stages at the Electric Picnic, Longitude Festival, and IndiePendence Festival, performing at the legendary Slane Castle with Bon Jovi, and been personally invited by Mumford & Sons to support them in Phoenix Park, to selling out their legendary acoustic show Dublin's Christchurch Cathedral on the day tickets went on-sale, HamsandwicH continue to thrive having established themselves in the upper-echelon of must-see acts on the road today.
