After a sold-out international tour last year, Ireland’s number one bilingual podcast How to Gael are back with a brand-new live show ‘Le Gealaí’.

Doireann Ní Ghlacáin and Louise Cantillon will be joined by special guests at four live shows around Europe, from Paris and London to Cork and Dublin. Éisteoirí are invited to let their hair down and embrace their inner ‘mad woman’ for a celebration of femininity and defiance – as they say as Gaeilge: ‘níor chaill bean an mhisnigh riamh é!’

Their first stop will be Paris on 20th February, before heading to London on 13th March, with both shows in secret locations… keep your eyes peeled for more on that! It’s then onto the Rebel County to the Cork Opera House on 28th March.

And where could be more fitting for the cailíní to wrap up their tour than just down the road from the GPO in the Ambassador Theatre, O'Connell Street on Easter Sunday? Join them for 'Cóisir na Cásca' – dress code: short skirt and strong boots optional, in honour of Countess Markievicz herself!

Nab yourself a ticket by heading to the girls’ Instagram @howtogael and purchasing through their Linktree. You can also go directly to Ticketmaster for their Dublin date or check out the Cork Podcast Festival website for the Cork show.

“The phrase ‘le gealaí’ literally translates to ‘with the moon’ which means going mad. We’re all well-acquainted with the trope of ‘mad women’ - women who don’t stick to the status quo. This show is a celebration of mad femininity while drawing on our usual folkloric references and rooting it all in the Irish language,” – How to Gael.
