Lana Del Rey, has announced an Irish show at Malahide Castle, Co Dublin Saturday June 22nd 2019 subject to licence. It will be three years since she last played Ireland at Electric Picnic 2016 and the “Summertime Sadness” singer promises to deliver emotive performances of her cinematic sound in the magnificently unique and tranquil setting of Malahide Castle. Lana Del Rey will be supported by Tamino & Kojaque on the day.
Lana Del Rey first started her music career in 2005. In 2011 she received widespread attention when the music video for her single ”Video Games” became an internet sensation. Her debut album for a major label, “Born to Die”, reached number two on the Billboard charts and was the fifth best-selling album of 2012. She has gone on to release three further albums including 2017’s “Lust for Life”.
In September 2018 Del Rey released two singles “Mariners Apartment Complex” and “Venice Bitch” She also announced her forthcoming album, due early 2019, to be titled “Norman Fucking Rockwell”
