Fresh from the release of his latest single ‘Country Life’ and his awarding of the best music video award at the British Short Film Awards, London hip-hop/ genre-bending creative Master Peace is returning to Dublin to play his biggest Irish headline show so far in the Academy 2 on 15th March 2023.

Master Peace, AKA Peace Okezie, has been carving out his own lane in the Indie scene since his debut 2019 single ‘Night Time’. Since his arrival onto the scene, Master Peace has been endorsed by everyone from AJ Tracey to Plastician. To date, he’s featured alongside some of the country’s biggest names including Silky, SG Lewis, JME, Mae Muller, and JME.
In 2020, he released his debut EP, the 6 track Love Bites. He followed this up a year later with Public Display of Affection, a soundtrack to a heartfelt break-up, which was critically acclaimed by all who heard it, including DIY Magazine who gave it 4/5 and called it “a flawless meeting of intention and execution”.
Since then, Master Peace has released a string of singles including ‘Shakedown’, ‘Go Your Own Way’, ‘Country Life’ and ‘Wrong Answers Only’ which features Mike Skinner’s The Streets. Now back with a more hard hitting and mature sound; Okezie’s found a way to create the perfect balance between nostalgia and newness, familiarity and futurism
