Nealo announces headline Grand Social gig after sold out Whelan’s show.

After a sold out show upstairs in Whelans in March, Dublin Hip Hop artist Nealo announces a headline show on Friday September 27th in the Grand Social.

The release of his second single Questions featuring God Knows of Rusangano Family and jazz collective INNRSPACE has garnered a positive reception so far. Questions, is a song about mental health and the intense nature of overthinking. Nealo describes the song as a “stream of consciousness from brain to paper, and then edited into poetry so I can rap it over a beat”.

Nealo now sets his sights on an exciting festival run which will include Longitude, Sea Sessions, Knockanstockan and many more.

Nealo hopes this headline gig in September will be a celebration of everything that has happened so far. Performers on the night will include friends and collaborators such as Molly Sterling, INNRSPACE (Fiachra Kinder, Rafino Murphy & Adam Garrett), Sam Killeen (Senu) and many more.

"It's not just the imagery that he brings through his words, Nealo has something special, something Irish, something that could connect with anyone anywhere" - Dan Hegarty, 2FM.

"Nealo’s lyrics stand out among all of Irish hip-hop as having a real human edge….this is the sound of an artist striving to move up to the next level. It’s also a wonderful track and a strong reminder that Nealo is one of my favourite Irish hip-hop artists." - Nialler9

Nealo will play The Grand Social on Friday September 27th with tickets from €15 incl booking fee on sale now from Ticketmaster
