TOYGIRL announce headline Dublin show at The Sound house
Dublin based TOYGIRL are a "pigeon-hole busting bilingual quintet" - Hot Press. Having met in BIMM Dublin last year, the group blend their drastically differing musical influences in pursuit of creating something truly unique. The Alternative / Synth / Pop outfit is lead by British / French Vocalist and Synth player Hannah Worrall alongside four Cork natives Aran Hopkinson (Bass), Cian O'Leary Hegarty (Drums), Ciaran Whelband (Guitar) and Fiachra O'Mahony (Guitar). The band's debut single 'Reign', released September 13th 2019, has amassed over 50,000 streams on Spotify and received widespread critic acclaim as well as featuring regularly on national radio stations including rte2fm and 98fm. Following the release of 'Reign' the band successfully completed their debut Irish and UK tour. Described by REMY Music as having been "blown away by TOYGIRL, their set was outstanding, perfectly arced and teasing builds leading to spine tingling crescendos. Main vocals were highly impressive, ranging from sombre laments to soaring euphoria."
