From forming initially to play at house parties to being hailed as "Dublin math-rock revival" and named as one of the top 50 acts of 2018 by Nialler9, experimental three-piece Tribal Dance are turning heads home and abroad due to their abrasive and unconventional sound.

The band's sophomore release “And Then All That Was Left Was A Physician And A Silhouette” was the first release on Dublin label Bad Soup Records in December 2018, accompanied with an intense and dramatic music video, a limited edition physical release.

The band have been showcased in Whelans Ones to Watch 2019, a special Nialler9 showcase show at The Button Factory in April 2018 as well as unforgettable performance to a packed tent at KnockanStockan 2018.

“What impresses most about Tribal dance is how perfectly in sync each member is. Their dance fused math rock leaves very little room for error. One missed beat or note and the whole thing would start to crumble. Such was their performance, they was virtually no chance of this happening.” Goldenplec live review of KnockanStockan 2018.

Tribal Dance have been working on multiple releases for 2019 with Ben Bix of Meltybrains? and Sim Simma.
