DUE TO THE INCREDIBLE REACTION TO HOZIER’S PERFORMANCE OF ‘THE PARTING GLASS’ ON THE LATE LATE SHOW FRIDAY 27TH MARCH, THE LIVE RECORDING WILL BE RELEASED NEXT FRIDAY, 17TH APRIL. THIS VERY SPECIAL RELEASE WILL BE AVAILABLE ON ALL DIGITAL PLATFORMS WITH ALL PROFITS GOING TO THE ISPCC CHILDLINE.

ISPCC / CHILDLINE in association with RTÉ 2FM, along with some of Ireland’s top artists came together in the wake of the Covid-19 Pandemic to present a two week long digital live music event in support of children in Ireland.

Since Friday 27th March, fans have been tuning in from 7pm nightly, to live performances through each artist’s official Instagram account. Performances have also been broadcast live on RTÉ 2FM every evening for thirty minutes. People have been donating in support of Childline and the ISPCC through text and online donations.

Hozier gave a very special and exclusive performance live on The Late Late Show on Friday 27th March, where he made an emergency appeal live to the viewers. Hozier’s Friday night live stream was followed nightly by Danny O’Reilly, Wild Youth, Kodaline, Dermot Kennedy, Picture This, Gavin James, Mark Feehily, Walking On Cars, Hudson Taylor, Orla Gartland, Sean & Conor Price, Lyra, Allie Sherlock and Niall Horan.

Since the incredible reaction to Hozier’s live performance on RTE’s The Late Late Show on Friday 27th March, the live recording will now be released on Friday 17th April. All profits made will go directly to the ISPCC Childline, supporting children in Ireland when they need it most.

The ISPCC Childline would like to extend it’s most sincere thanks to RTE’s The Late Late Show, RTE 2FM, Eoghan McDermott and all the incredible artist’s involved. Most of all, thank you to the public, for your incredible support and generosity. We rely on donations for 90% of our funding.

We are appealing to you, to help share a sense of hope with children. To let them know that someone cares.

We saw an increase in demand across all channels initially (website, text and calls) now the demand is growing in the online services (hits to website and SMS).

This may be due to the fact that everyone is staying at home and phone conversations could be overheard so children are choosing the other options.

There has been a 59% increase in engagements with children across all our online platforms since 17th March.

Your donation will be a part of every contact Childline answers.
