THINGS TO KNOW

Expect at least 30mins exiting time when leaving the performance Arena. Under 17’s and Parents with children should wait 15mins after concert before starting to exit. All Merchandise, Refreshment and Food outlets will remain open.  Allow at least an additional 3 hours travel time to and from the venue as traffic and parking delays are inevitable. Buses get priority when exiting parking areas. Strict Age Restrictions - Check Ticket T&C’s. Plan and book your RETURN transport in Advance. For full public transport information visit the NTA and Transport for Ireland. Promoters do not operate or licence public transport. Enjoy the concert

No early queuing allowed. Patrons are advised to allow sufficient time to travel to the event and pass-through security checks.

Arrive no earlier than necessary—early patrons will be turned away from restricted areas. Avoid queuing nearby to prevent disruption to residents. Plan to be inside the venue 30 minutes before the show starts.

For health and safety, camping or collapsible chairs are not allowed. Security will have to refuse you entry with them.

This is an outdoor event. Check the forecast and dress accordingly for Irish weather – think boots or runners, layers, raincoats/ponchos and sun cream but remember no umbrellas.

Show your ticket at the ticket check outside the venue for inspection.

Strict security checks will be in operation. Everyone will be subject to a search permissible under law, per Purchase Policy. It is a condition of entry, to protect everyone’s safety. Additional searches may take place once inside the venue.

Patrons are especially advised not to bring large bags/backpacks as they may experience delays or be refused entry. There will be no storage facilities on site. Any items left at entrances/in surrounding areas will be removed and disposed of accordingly.

Bags larger than A4, signs/flags bigger than A3, flag poles, glass or cans, umbrellas, alcohol, e-scooters/e-bikes, disposable vapes, flares, professional cameras and audio recording equipment will not be permitted, see the full list of prohibited items on Prohibited Items | MCD.ie.

Obey the stewards and Gardaí and instructions given over the public address for your own safety.

There are no re-admissions to the concert. If you leave, there is no re-entry.

Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission without refund to anyone who fails to comply with these T&Cs, as agreed by customer and per Purchase Policy.

Don’t rush to exit after the concerts.

TRANSPORT

Plan and book your return travel arrangements in advance using official NTA licensed transport providers. Allow yourself at least an extra 3 hours travel time to and from the venue. As traffic and parking delays are inevitable you are encouraged to walk, use public transport and private coach services.

Public and private transport services are managed and operated under licence by the National Transport Authority (NTA).

Promoters do not operate transport to/from venue. This is a matter for customers to arrange in advance.

BUS: Bus Eireann from Cork City Centre. More info on Bus Éireann.

TRAIN: Nearest station is Cork Kent Train station. More info on Irish Rail.

CAR: Black Ash for concert parking (no park & ride in operation).

NO concert parking or drop off on Connolly Road, Slieve Mish Park or Green Lawn. Towing in operation.

There will be local road closures in place on show days managed by An Garda Síochána to facilitate safe crowd movement. Do NOT park illegally or in residential areas. Use public transport where possible.

APPROACH ROUTES

There are three entrances. You must enter through whichever gate is detailed on your ticket.[ef1] 

Green Route (Pitch standing) Enter via Gate B – Tramore Road

Red Route (Front standing) Enter via Gate C - Pearse Road

Blue Route (Unreserved seating) Enter via Gate C – Pearse Road

TICKET COLLECTIONS / BOX OFFICE

There is one box office at the Pearse Road entrance – please see map.

Download your tickets to your phone ahead of the event - don't wait until the day. Screenshots will not work as barcodes are live and updating regularly.

AGE POLICY

Standing - 14+ only.

Unreserved seating – under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult 25+ (first come first served on seat location)

Under 16’s MUST be accompanied at all times by a Parent/Guardian over 25, who takes full responsibility and remains with them throughout the event.

Strict age monitoring will be in place. Unaccompanied under 16’s will be refused entry without refund. The promoter reserves the right to refuse admission without refund to anyone who fails to comply.

Recommended no under 5’s. All attendees must have a ticket.

ACCESSIBILITY

MCD cannot amend or move any ticket bookings. Accessible accommodation requests can be made here: Outdoor Accessibility Requests | MCD.ie. Please note, all forms close 5 days out from event date.

Accessible ticketholders do not need to contact us. They will be contacted directly regarding accessible parking options. All accessible parking must be arranged in advance.

 

Virgin Media Park is in a residential area. We would appeal to all concert goers to respect the local community by not littering, not engaging in anti-social behaviour and by not parking illegally. Please respect the neighbours.
