Pebbledash has just announced their headline show in Workmans Cellar, Dublin, on Friday, 7th November 2025.

“That is pretty epic.. I’m really quite taken by this band” - John Kennedy, Radio X

“Filled with rawness, heart and effects pedals… traditional Irish songs with the shoegaze-esque instrumental beneath, creating an epic hybrid of genres” - So Young

“Cork risers with their eyes on the prize…” - Clash

“Otherworldly, yet gloriously noisy” - Hot Press

“I love the idea of this track” - Amy Lamé, BBC Radio 6 Music

Pebbledash recently released their highly anticipated debut EP, *Four Portraits of the Same  Ugly House*, on January 31st. Renowned for their innovative fusion of shoegaze, noise rock, dream pop, and traditional Irish music, the band continues to carve out a distinctive niche in the music scene with this compelling release. Crafted by the talented Aidan O'Mahoney at Kitten  Lane Studios and expertly mastered by Pete Maher—who has worked with luminaries like U2,  Nick Cave, and The Pixies—*Four Portraits of the Same Ugly House* presents a rich, dynamic sonic tapestry. This EP showcases a thrilling array of experimental ideas, deeply emotional songwriting, enchanting interlocking melodies, and explosive waves of visceral noise.  Drawing inspiration from their experiences in Cork city—affectionately dubbed the "Ugly  House"—this four-track collection encapsulates a transformative year of growth, change, and reflection for the band. Each song serves as a poignant snapshot of key moments in their lives,  infused with nostalgia and a profound longing for connection. Pebbledash invites listeners on a captivating journey through their evolving sound, promising a rich musical experience that resonates deeply with the heart and soul.

Speaking on the tour’s unique name, ‘Of Seaweed and Sandstone, ’ the band says, “The name comes from a trip we all took last year to Dunmore East where we wrote some of the songs we are playing on this tour. We were staying in a house perched precariously on top of this  sandstone cliff overlooking the beach and spent a few days just chatting and playing whilst the  landscape just had its huge effect on us with its history and dramatic-ness all entwining itself with our ambitions in the context of the band. In addition to this, the contrasting image of  seaweed on sandstone, the soft and the rugged, the moveable and immovable, the rough and the smooth, became a great metaphor for the music we are writing and exploring, the textures  we want to create both musically and lyrically. There was also some magic to be found in the natural well lined with seaweed we all drank from.”

Of Seaweed and Sandstone marks the band's second Irish and debut UK tour. With this tour, Pebbledash "want to exhibit the sound we began to develop after the release of our debut EP with the songs we wrote in the following months. After the first release jitters, we were renewed  with confidence and excitement in our songs, moving in a slightly different direction. Spurred by a renewed sense of confidence, the tour allows us to show off this new stage of Pebbledash,  where we can continue to establish ourselves as songwriters and musicians with something to  say that we need to translate to the world and more importantly, our way of saying it, the tour is our vessel to portray this in a theatrical sense. We can continue building our world around our music and for the listening people. Along with this, we love touring and playing where we haven't been before and meeting other bands and people coming to the shows makes us feel like we are doing what we were always meant to be doing."
