Plantain Papi is a vocalist, music producer and mix-engineer hailing from North Dublin. Since releasing his first single on streaming platforms in late 2017, Plantain has fallen deeply in love with the art of music creation and performance. 

 

Plantain Papi has independently produced and released an army of singles and features that have accumulated over 700k streams and counting. During 2021, Plantain Papi was selected to be on RTE 2fm Rising List after holding the ‘Track of the Week’ title multiple times in 2020.

Having sold out his first headline show at The Academy Dublin, Plantain was chosen to perform at Longitude Festival 2022 on the main stage. No stranger to the big stage, Plantain Papi has entertained large crowds all over Ireland including Trinity Ball, 3Arena with Burna Boy, The Academy, Button Factory with Mayorkun, Cyprus Avenue Cork, the Soundhouse and many more.
