Are there still tickets available?
Please keep an eye on the main event page on Ticketmaster for any available tickets or fans listing their tickets for resale. We won’t be able to reply to queries about extra tickets becoming available – if there are tickets for sale, they will be visible on the Ticketmaster main event page.
 
If I can't go to the concert can I get a refund?
There are no refunds, however your ticket can be sold via Ticketmaster's Fan to Fan resale, which you can access from your Ticketmaster account. Fan to fan resale closes 3 days before show day.
 
When will my ticket arrive?
Tickets should show in your Ticketmaster account immediately after purchase. Barcodes will be visible by event day. If you cannot see your tickets in your account at all, please contact Ticketmaster directly via your MyAccount. www.ticketmaster.ie
 
My friend / parent / other bought my ticket on their account, how do I get my ticket?
The ticket can be transferred to you from their Ticketmaster account to yours using the Ticketmaster app. Please note, MCD/Promoter strongly suggest making sure this is done well in advance of the weekend of the show in case you need to contact Ticketmaster for any reason. www.ticketmaster.ie
 
I have a ticket query - what should I do?

Are any more tickets going on sale?
If there are any tickets available, they can be purchased via Ticketmaster. Please visit the event page on www.ticketmaster.ie
 
I've seen tickets advertised on other sites - can I still purchase from there? 
We would strongly advise against using any sites other than www.ticketmaster.ie who is the authorised seller of tickets for this event. Purchasing from Ticketmaster is the only way you can be guaranteed that you have purchased 100% genuine tickets.  
 
Where is the Malahide Castle Concert site?
Malahide Castle is located a 10 minute drive from Dublin Airport and a 25 minute drive from Dublin city centre. On show day, there will be road closures in place, and a comprehensive traffic plan will be in operation. Ticket holders will be emailed information about how best to access/travel to Malahide Castle.
 
What’s the best way to get to the event?
The best way to get to the event is by using public transport (DART) and coaches will be available to book in advance via the Marathon website. https://marathongroup.ie/collections/bus-to-concerts. Ticket holders will be emailed directly with relevant links to book their transport. This information will be sent in sufficient time to allow concert goers to plan to travel to and from Malahide Castle. 
 
Which entrance do I take to enter the venue?
Pedestrians will only be permitted into the grounds of Malahide castle via Hogan’s Gate (Near DART station). Pedestrians will not be permitted entrance through any other park gate. Vehicle access is via Back Road Entrance only. Please note car paking on site is limited. There will be stewards / security / Gardaí outside the venue on the day of the event to assist with any queries regarding entry to the venue.
 
If I’m coming from overseas, what’s the best way to get to Malahide Castle?
Dublin Airport is the closest airport to the event site. Dublin ferry port are the closest port if traveling by ferry. Ticket holders will be emailed information about how best to then travel onwards from Dublin City Centre to get to Malahide Castle.
 
What are my other options for travel?
There are official designated car parks available to pre-book online with Marathon Coaches. Please note the there is limited availabilty. https://marathoncoaches.ie/collections/malahide-castle-concert-parking. 
 
I'm attending on a private coach / mini bus. Where can the driver drop / collect me?
There will be coach/bus and minibus parking available within the grounds of Malahide Castle, access is via Back Road. Do not drop off outside of the venue. It is very important to us that you notify and register with us in advance, to do so please email [email protected] with the following information:
• Your name
• No. of passengers
• Coach Company
• Name of driver
• Date and time of arrival and departure
 
Can I camp at Malahide Castle?
No, the Malahide Castle events are a one day non-camping event.
 
What time do the gates open?
The advertised gates opening time is 5 pm on the 14th, 16th, 27th, 28th and 30th and at 4 pm on the 24th nd 25th.
 
Can I purchase an early access or early queuing pass for Malahide Castle?
No, there are NO early access or early queuing passes available. Early queuing is NOT permitted.
 
Have the support acts been announced yet?

What are the stage times?
The stage times will be released at a time closer to the event. Please keep an eye here for all the latest updates.
 
What are the bag restrictions?
Only bags smaller than an A4 sheet of paper are permitted. Backpacks and Large Bags will not be permitted.  Bags must not be left at entrances or surrounding areas. Any items left will be removed and disposed of accordingly. 
 
Will I be searched on entry?
You will also be searched at the entrance to the event which may include a full body pat down and/or use of hand held metal detectors. Any item(s), which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon, or which may cause danger or disruption to any other persons at the event, will be confiscated.
Please allow plenty of time to get into the event, and for concert entry procedures, ticket checks and searches.

Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities within the arena or other parts of the site may be searched.
 
Are there any lockers on site?
No, please only bring the essentials and adhere to the bag size policy.
 
Can I bring a poster with me, and if so, what size?
Posters can be up to A3 size, and it needs to fold down into your bag for entry.
 
Can I bring camping chairs or any sort of folding seats with me?
No. For Health and Safety reasons no camping chairs or folding seats of any sort will be permitted on site. This does not apply to wheelchairs or walkers.
 
Can I bring an umbrella with me in case it rains?
No, umbrellas will not be permitted on the site – we recommend having a poncho on standby. ISPCC will also be on site selling Ponchos on the day.
 
Can I bring a refillable water bottle with me?
Empty plastic reusable bottles are permitted on site.
 
What else can't I bring to the event?

What kind of footwear should I wear?
Malahide Castle is a green field site, and routes of entry may require a significant walk. We recommend wearing sturdy shoes runners or wellies. Sandals, flip flops, and high heels of any kind are strongly discouraged.
 
I'm under 16, can I go to a concert at Malahide Castle?
Yes, if you are accompanied by an adult ticket holder who is over 18 years old.
 
Just wondering can someone under 16 go without an adult?
All under 16s attending the event must be accompanied at all times by an adult aged 18 or above. Adult ticket holders must remain with under 16s and take full responsibility for them throughout the event. Strict age monitoring will be in place at all entrances. The promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to any Unaccompanied under 16’s without a refund.
 
How many children under 16 can I accompany?
One adult can accompany up to 4 children, however this is a matter you should pay careful attention to, depending on the age and needs of the children involved.
 
Can I bring my baby/toddler to this event?
The Promoter deems that large concerts are not suitable environments for all small children under 5 years old. This being so, we have no measures in place to facilitate babies or small children on site. It is important to note that high noise levels can damage your child's hearing.
Should you still choose to bring young children or babies please note you will need to use a wearable baby carrier and appropriate ear defenders. You may be requested to sign a consent form before entering the venue. Everyone entering the stadium regardless of age requires a ticket. 
 
I’m 16, do I need a ticket-holding adult guardian to accompany me to the concert?
No, the only people who require this are people under 16 years of age.
 
What counts as a valid ID?
For bar access, the only acceptable forms of ID are Passport, Garda Age Card, Driving Licence. If you are younger than 18 and are carrying ID to verify your age on entry, a full colour photocopy of your in-date passport may be accepted. Blurry or poor-quality copies will not be accepted.
 
Is a picture of my ID on my phone alright to use for entry?
No, a picture of your ID on your phone is not an acceptable form of ID. Please see above for acceptable forms of ID.
 
Where are the first aid areas located?
There will be First Aid areas located inside the venue. These will be clearly signposted and all stewards will be able to direct patrons to the nearest medical staff. If you need First Aid, please approach a steward who will direct you to the nearest first aid / medic point. 
 
What can I do if I become separated from my friends or family at the event?
Please speak to your nearest Steward who will assist you and point you in the right direction or go to the First Aid Point. 
 
Will I be able to purchase food and drink at the concert?
Yes, there will be a wide range of food and beverages available to buy including vegan / coeliac food options.
Please note: Alcohol will only be available to purchase for adults aged 18 and over, you will be required to provide photo id as proof of age.
 
Can I purchase official merchandise at the concert? 
Yes, there will be official merchandise outlets located inside the venue. We would advise against purchasing any unofficial merchandise outside the venue. 
 
How will I get up to date information in the days leading up to the concert?
Ticketmaster will contact ticket holders by email (if they have contact details) with concert information prior to the event. You can also get up to date information from the following websites:

Can I leave the event and come back again later in the day?
There is no re-admission to this event – if you leave the site for any reason, you will not be allowed to return. Please be very careful to bring everything you need with you on the day.
 
I have bought an accessible ticket – can you tell me what this will mean for my day?
Customers who have bought accessible tickets will have space on the wheelchair accessible platform. For those accessible ticketholders who are not wheelchair users, there will be seats provided. Accessible ticket holders will be contacted a few weeks of the event, and offered a parking pass for the accessible carpark – if an email hasn’t been received within two weeks of the event, please check spam folders or contact [email protected]. Please include your Ticketmaster AAR number in your communication.
 
I have accessible tickets, but I’m coming to the event with a larger party. Can they sit on the platform too?
Unfortunately this won’t be possible. In order to ensure as many customers with access requirements are able to make use of our platform, we must adhere to a strict 1:1 policy (except where medically required).
 
Will there be toilet facilities for accessible customers?
Yes, there will be accessible toilets close to the accessible platform. Access to these toilets will be limited to access customers only. Please contact us at [email protected] directly should you have any specific accessible requirements.
 
I have not purchased accessible tickets, but I do have access requirements. Can you tell me what accommodations are available for me?
If you have not purchased an accessible ticket but you require accessible parking and toilet facilities, please contact us at [email protected] . Please include your Ticketmaster AAR number in your communication and the team will be in touch to arrange relevant access for you. If you have not registered for Ticketmaster’s accessible database, please do so via your Ticketmaster MyAccount before getting in touch.
 
I am a wheelchair user, and I have purchased a general admission standing ticket. Is that allowed?
All accessible customers are welcome at MCD shows. MCD/Promoter do ask customers to note that this event takes place on a sloping greenfield site, and parts of this site may have undulating sections of terrain, meaning that sometimes access is not that easy. If you have a specific query about accessing appropriate toilets, entry routes, etc. please email [email protected] . Please include your Ticketmaster AAR number in your communication and the team will be in touch to arrange relevant access for you. If you have not registered for Ticketmaster’s accessible database, please do so via your Ticketmaster MyAccount before getting in touch.
 
I have purchased a standing ticket, but I don’t think it is a suitable ticket for me anymore. What are my options for exchanging to another location

Keep an eye on the main event page for any tickets that are available. They may also be available via resale. If you can make a purchase for a ticket that suits you better, then you can contact Ticketmaster via your MyAccount to request that they refund your original tickets. You can also list your tickets for resale if you wish, also via your Ticketmaster MyAccount.

Ticket Terms and Conditions 2023 – Malahide Castle Concerts

GENERAL-

  1. These Terms and conditions (T&Cs) incorporate, and should be read together with, any Vendor’s and/or Agent’s T&Cs or regulations, which you can obtain from the point of purchase from the Official Agent. Your possession of a ticket constitutes your acceptance of these T&Cs.

  2. Purchasing a ticket or accepting a guest ticket for this event constitutes your acceptance of these T&C’s.

  3. MCD Production, “US”, “We”, “Our” means MCD Production Ltd and/or its representatives, employees and sub-contractors.

  4. We reserve the right to refuse admission or to remove any person from the site, without refund, for reasons of public safety (including for crowd

    surfing or moshing, or failure to comply with any measures put in place to combat the spread of Covid-19), any unacceptable behaviour likely to

    cause damage, nuisance or injury, or for any breach of these T&Cs.

  5. We reserve the right to implement restrictions/conditions before and during the Event to ensure it is safe. You must comply with any and all

    instructions given to you by Event staff and stewards and you may be evicted without a refund if you fail to comply.

  6. Tickets are for the Event and any billed Artists and attractions may be subject to change.

  7. The Event is big bag free. Only bags smaller than a piece of A4 paper will be permitted. There are no storage facilities on site and bags must not

    be left at entrances or surrounding areas. Any items left will be removed and disposed of accordingly.

  8. No trading or promotional activities are allowed within the venue without Our prior consent. Goods using unauthorised Event logos will be

    confiscated.

  9. By entering the site, you give your express consent to your actual/ simulated likeness to be included for no fee within any audio or visual

    recording to be used in any media for any purpose at any time, including purpose at any time, including CCTV, filming by An Garda Síochána or

    security staff and/or for marketing.

  10. These T&Cs are subject to change from time to time in Our sole discretion and We will notify you by posting the amended T&CS to the Event

    website.

  11. We shall have no liability for any loss, injury, illness or damage to any person or property sustained at the Event howsoever caused (including by

    Us and Our agents) in any circumstances unless caused as a direct result of Our negligence and that which cannot by law be excluded or limited.

    Any personal property brought to the Event is at your own risk.

  12. We may prosecute you if you cause damage to the site, the site infrastructure, or cause harm to any other person at the Event and/or site.

  13. These T&C’s are governed by Irish Law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with these T&C’s shall be subject to the exclusive

    jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

REFUNDS -

  1. Refunds are only considered if the Event is (i) cancelled in full and not rescheduled (if the Event is partially cancelled your refund will be a proportionate partial refund) or (ii) materially altered which is a change (other than a rescheduling) which, in our opinion, makes the Event materially different to the Event that ticket purchasers, taken generally, could reasonably expect. The following are not deemed to be ‘material alterations’: changes to the Event line-up; adverse weather conditions; changes to individual band members; curtailment of the Event where the majority of the Event is performed; and delays to starting a performance or the Event.

  2. Refunds must be requested from the point of purchase, no later than three months after the Event.

  3. Refunds of any booking fees per ticket or per order fees are subject to the terms and conditions of the point of sale.

  4. Personal arrangements relating to the Event including, but not limited to, travel, subsistence and accommodation are at your own risk and we

    shall not be liable for any losses incurred from personal arrangements or wasted expenditure beyond the ticket refund.

AGE POLICY -

  1. All under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder (aged 18 or over) who must remain on site, throughout the Event, as the under 16’s guardian. No unaccompanied under 16’s are allowed on site.

  2. We do not act in any parental or supervisory capacity for under 18s on site. This does not affect our legal duties to any attendee in respect of, or obligation to comply with, any applicable laws including health and safety or licensing laws.

  3. Please note that valid I.D. is required upon entry. You must be able to prove your age with valid identification if requested, failure to do so may result in being refused admission.

TICKETS AND WRISTBANDS –

  1. Tickets purchased from unauthorised sources will be rendered invalid and refused admission.

  2. Tickets must be valid, presented in full according to the authorised agents delivery methods and not altered or tampered with.

  3. Tickets for this event have a unique barcode which will be scanned on entry and if found to be duplicated, either in error or for fraudulent gain,

    only the first instance of the ticket scanned will be admitted regardless of original ownership. Customers may be prosecuted if found to have

    deliberately duplicated and resold tickets for fraudulent gain.

  4. Wristbands (as applicable) are strictly non-transferable and will be invalid if removed, tampered with, transferred or resold. Wristbands must be

    worn at all times for the duration of the Event.

  5. Tickets must be valid, presented in full, with stubs and not tampered with (in the event of accidental damage, refer to point of purchase prior to

    event).

  6. We will not issue duplicate tickets for lost or stolen tickets.

  7. Tickets cannot be used as part of any marketing, media or sales promotion, without Our prior written consent.

  8. If you have obtained this ticket in breach of these T&C’s and/or if you breach any of these T&C’s, the ticket will be void and all the rights

    conferred on you or evidenced by such ticket shall be void. If you seek to gain entry on a void ticket, then we reserve the right to refuse you entry or evict you from the event and you might be liable to legal action for trespass. Void tickets are non-refundable.

  9. All tickets remain Our property until the Event closes and are a personal revocable licence which may be withdrawn, and admission refused at any time.

  10. There is a strict no re-entry policy at this Event. You may only leave and re-enter the site during the Event at our discretion and/or that of the venue management. Otherwise, there will be no re-admission or pass outs of any kind. Exit will be via a different route to entry.

  11. Ticket resale is not allowed except through the official Ticketmaster Ticket Resale in accordance with its resale platform Terms and Conditions

  12. As a Designated Event under section 9(1) of the Sale of Tickets (Cultural, Entertainment, Recreational and Sporting Events) Act 2021, it is

    unlawful to resell tickets for the Event for more than the face-value or to purchase tickets in excess of the maximum ticket limits set at the point

    of purchase.

  13. Anyone attempted to enter on false accreditation or by misrepresentation will be refused entry, may have the accreditation confiscated and may

    be reported to An Garda Síochána.

SECURITY

34. If you are perceived to be intoxicated, abusive or displaying threatening behaviour, you will be refused entry into the event, even if you hold a valid ticket.
Searching is a condition of entry and you may be searched anywhere on site at any time by security and detection dogs.

35. Without liability to you, We shall be entitled to confiscate any item(s) which may reasonably be considered to be a weapon (or used as a weapon) or which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person.

36. Without liability to you, We shall be entitled to confiscate any item(s) which may reasonably be considered to be a weapon (or used as a weapon) or which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person.

37. Any person suspected of carrying illegal items or carrying out illegal activity may be handed over to An Garda Síochána and refused entry

38. We reserve the right to evict customers without refund, and/or refuse admission where the Eviction Policy is breached.

39. You may be body/bag searched anywhere on site at any time by security and detection dogs. Searching is a condition of entry.

40. Any item(s), reasonably considered to be a weapon (or used as a weapon), which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person will be confiscated.

 

BANNED ITEMS

  1. Banned from the Event – Bags larger than A4, aerosols over 250ml, airhorns, balloons, blow torch, fireworks / pyrotechnics, flares of any kind,

    glass (including perfume / make up bottles over 100ml), illegal and/or unidentifiable substances, drugs, ‘legal highs’ – this includes Nitrous Oxide and associated equipment, new psychoactive substances (NPS), fires, items which may be regarded as weapons, illegal items, candles & incense, professional radios / walkie-talkies, laser equipment/pens, megaphones, skateboards, scooters, hoverboards or any personal motorised vehicles, bicycles, any kind of knifes, cool bags / boxes, flags with poles, smoke & gas canisters, sky lanterns & kites, sound systems / speakers of any kind, drones, spray cans, tabards/high viz jackets, perfume / make up over 100ml, Liquids/gels/lotions over 100ml, cans, umbrellas (small folding permitted), unauthorised vehicles, goods for unauthorised trading & goods with unauthorised logos, generators and camping equipment including chairs of any sort, tables, BBQs and other cooking apparatus, cutlery and gazebos / parasols. All banned items will be confiscated and won’t be returned

  2. No drinks or alcohol can be brought into the event, with the exception of sealed soft drinks bottles (up to 500ml per person). Empty plastic reusable bottles are permitted on site - please refill your empty bottles at the water points inside the arena for free.

  3. No excessive amounts of food and cigarettes may be brought into the Event - only a reasonable amount for personal consumption is permitted. If you need to bring specific food or drink or medication due to a pre-existing medical condition, please bring supporting medical evidence and the items in their original packaging.

  4. If you need to bring specific food, drinks or medication due to a medical condition, please bring a medical note or evidence to support this.

  5. Photographic and other recording equipment is permitted if it is for personal non-commercial use only (professional cameras with detachable /

    zoom lenses over 6” are prohibited). We may confiscate and/or destroy any unauthorised recordings or professional recording equipment. We

    reserve the right to charge a licence fee for any commercial use of photographs / visual / audio recordings taken at the Event.

  6. The use of drones (including toy drones) or similar is prohibited on or near the Event without Our written permission.

  7. No unauthorised vehicles will be allowed on site.

  8. Under 18s’ are not permitted to bring or to purchase alcohol on site. A Challenge 25 Policy will be in place for all alcohol sales on site. It is illegal

    for a person over 18 to purchase alcohol on behalf of someone under 18.

  9. Items that are surrendered or confiscated will not be returned. Anyone resisting the surrender of banned items will face eviction.

HOUSEKEEPING

  1. Fires and the burning of any materials is not permitted anywhere on the Event site. Anyone involved with starting a fire or throwing anything onto a fire will be evicted from site.

  2. Smoking (including e – cigarettes and/or vaping) is not permitted in enclosed public spaces or buildings, including any tents, Arena big tops etc.

  3. Excessive exposure to loud music may cause damage to your hearing.

  4. All those attending the Event do so at their own risk.

  5. Pyrotechnics, lasers, smoke machines, strobe lighting or other special effects may take place during some performances.

  6. No animals, other than guide or hearing dogs, are permitted on site.
