Wanna Talk”
Icelandic pop innovator Daði Freyr returns with a new single, “I Don’t Wanna Talk”, marking the beginning of an exciting new era and serving as the first track from his upcoming album. While many first met Daði through his 2020 breakout hit “Think About Things”—a heartfelt tribute to his newborn daughter that went viral during lockdown and racked up over 100 million streams his artistic journey has continued to evolve far beyond the Eurovision spotlight.

His 2023 album “I Made an Album” solidified him as a fully formed artist with a clear vision, blending danceable beats with introspective themes and his trademark DIY production style. Songs like “Moves to Make” and “I’m Fine” showcased his ability to make music that’s equally ready for the dance floor or a quiet moment of reflection. Over the last few years, Daði has built a loyal global fanbase through sold-out tours across Europe and the U.S., bringing to life an immersive live experience full of synchronized dance routines, engaging visuals, and boundless

With “I Don’t Wanna Talk”, Daði invites listeners into a more intimate soundscape. Co-written in Berlin with producer Daniel Schaub, the song is a gentle, synth-laced meditation on the kind of connection that needs no words.
“The song is about being so comfortable with somebody that you don’t need to fill the silence to have a good time,” says Daði. “Sometimes it’s enough just to exist in the same space as somebody you
love.”
The track marks a new phase in Daði’s creative process, as he begins to open up his once entirely solo workflow to new collaborators and influences. Still unmistakably his in tone and sound, “I Don’t Wanna Talk” leans into a softer emotional register—perfect for a slow morning, a long walk, or a quiet evening in. With more music on the horizon, Daði is poised to deliver his most expansive work yet—blending heartfelt songwriting with signature synth-pop
energy.

Following previous sell-out tours and acclaimed festival appearances, the "The Sensual, Seductive  Sexy Tour" promises an intimate yet electrifying live experience. Speaking about the upcoming tour, Daði says: "This will be my most sensual, seductive and sexy tour yet!"

The tour kicks off on 8 September in Manchester at the iconic Albert Hall, making stops across major cities including London’s Islington Assembly Hall, Fabrik in Hamburg, and the Alhambra in Paris, before wrapping up at
the Alhambra in Paris on 22 October.
