Through their relentless hard work, non-stop touring and critically acclaimed, genre-breaking releases, gaining over 250 million streams and views across all platforms globally, JINJER have firmly established themselves as one of modern metal’s most vital and forward-thinking acts. The band has become synonymous with doing things their own way and rewriting the rules of heavy music, one crushing riff at a time. JINJER have just announced their headline show in the 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin on Wednesday 28th January 2026.

In their 15 years as a band, the four-piece progressive groove metal wrecking machine known as JINJER have carved their very own place in the global metal landscape. Hailing from Donetsk and later planting roots in Kyiv, this Ukrainian musical anomaly formed in 2009, though they consider their true beginning to be in 2010 with the addition of the extraordinary vocalist and femme fatale, Tatiana Shmayluk. Countless hours in rehearsal rooms and sweat-soaked local gigs culminated in their now cult debut album, Inhale, Do Not Breathe, in 2012, earning them the title of Best Ukrainian Metal Band in 2013, a title they would win again in the years to follow.

While many bands from a region not traditionally known for heavy metal would have been satisfied with regional success, JINJER wanted more. Their tireless ambition led to the release of their second album, Cloud Factory, in 2014 and their first steps into the international touring circuit, booking shows themselves, connecting with fans face-to-face, and building a reputation brick by brick, on their own terms. Their unstoppable work ethic and genre-defying sound caught the attention of Napalm Records, who signed the band and released their third album, King of Everything, in 2016. The breakout single "Pisces" not only showcased the band’s musical and emotional range but became a viral phenomenon with millions of views, streams, and countless YouTube reaction videos. The album opened doors to a global touring circuit and saw JINJER playing alongside Arch Enemy, Cradle Of Filth, and many more across territories as far-flung as the UAE, the UK, North and South America, the Philippines, and beyond.

Between tours, the band wrote and recorded the Micro EP, five explosive tracks born from road fatigue and a craving for something new. Released in early 2019 and coinciding with a tour alongside Soilwork and Amorphis, the EP spawned fan favorites like "Ape" and "Perennial," and continued to climb charts and playlists around the globe. Later that same year, JINJER turned up the heat with Macro, a full-length album of unrelenting technical brilliance and raw emotional depth. The album yielded eight music videos, including "Judgement (& Punishment)," "Retrospection," and "Home Back," cementing the band’s status as one of metal’s most exciting forces.

2020 began with promise, including sold-out shows across Australia and Latin America, but the COVID-19 pandemic abruptly halted their tour in Mexico following their performance at Hell & Heaven Fest. Refusing to be silenced, JINJER became one of the first international acts to resume touring in Europe later that year. Their Alive in Melbourne live album and video, recorded just before lockdown, was released in November 2020 and served as a time capsule of pre-pandemic live energy. In 2021, the band unleashed Wallflowers, their most calculated and emotionally resonant album to date. With standouts like "Colossus," "Vortex," "Mediator," and "Disclosure!", Wallflowers was both a sonic evolution and a reflection of the personal and global adversity of the times. Critics and fans hailed the album as a defining moment not only for JINJER, but for modern metal itself.

Post-pandemic, JINJER resumed their rightful place on stages across Europe and North America, touring with Suicide Silence and P.O.D and performing at festivals around the world. But 2022 brought new and unexpected tragedy with Russia's invasion of Ukraine. After a four-month hiatus, the band returned with renewed purpose, joining Slipknot on tour and taking the stage as musical ambassadors of peace, raising funds and awareness for their war-torn homeland. The band’s momentum carried into 2023, their most ambitious touring year yet. JINJER hit the road with Bullet For My Valentine in Europe, performed at massive festivals like Rock am Ring, Wacken Open Air, and Download UK, and embarked on a U.S. arena tour with Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin. Their North American headline tour with Monuments rounded out a truly triumphant year.

To celebrate 15 years of music, JINJER released their first-ever official live album/DVD Live in Los Angeles on May 17, 2024, a thunderous love letter to their fans and their journey.

Now in 2025, JINJER have raised the stakes once again with their brand new album Duél (Napalm Records, February 7, 2025). The record is an artistic tour de force that explores themes of internal conflict, chaos, and rebirth. Featuring the critically acclaimed singles "Someone's Daughter" and "Fast Draw," Duél pushes the band’s signature sound even further into the realms of experimental groove metal and lyrical introspection. Additional standouts like "Green Serpent," and "Dark Bile" showcase Tatiana’s unmatched vocal versatility, while the band weaves polyrhythmic complexity into searing, soul-stirring melodies.

To promote the release, JINJER embarked on a 2024 North American headline tour, selling out clubs and theaters across the USA and Canada. Immediately afterward, they joined Sepultura on their historic European farewell run, "Celebrating Life Through Death," sharing stages with a band that helped pave the way for heavy music worldwide. The band’s packed 2025 summer schedule includes key appearances at Europe’s biggest festivals, once again playing such reknowned festivals as Rock am Ring, Download Festival, Sweden Rock, Graspop and many more. In July, JINJER will return to North America as special guest for BABYMETAL on a multi-city arena tour, bringing their hybrid metal assault to a new generation of fans.

… And the best is still to come: JINJER will kick off 2026 with their long-awaited European headline tour, marking their first full headlining run on the continent since the end of 2019. With Duél in hand and fire in their hearts, the next chapter in the band’s journey is already shaping up to be their most powerful yet.

 … to be continued ….
