Take Me to the River All-Stars Memphis Soul Revue is a collection of some of the legendary Memphis musical talents who created countless classic hits that have stood the test of time! Featuring the Queen of Memphis Soul STAX legend Carla Thomas, The Legendary Hi Rhythm Section (he band behind 27 Gold and Platinum Records in a row, including all of Al Green’s classics) along with vocalist Jerome Chism, GRAMMY winner Boo Mitchell (son of Willie Mitchell) and GRAMMY winner Martin Shorel The night is guaranteed to keep everyone dancing, shaking, and smiling! As if transported to Memphis itself. Take me to The River has just announced an Ambassador Theatre, Dublin show on July 14th 2025.

Take Me to the River is a movement of social consciousness, created by Award Winning producer/director/musician Martin Shore, and producer/musician Cody Dickinson,(son of Jim Dickinson) to chronicle our master musicians, their legacies, culture, heritage and history, while celebrating the cultural gift to the world, Popular Music - Through the first two feature films in the series, Take Me to the River Memphis (winner at SXSW and Raindance London) and Take Me to the River New Orleans (GRAMMY WINNER in 2023), America's cultural jewel, Music, has been chronicled into living documentaries that play current and fresh (we make new record and navigate the films narrative through these historic one of a kind sessions). This creates an historical evergreen allowing this generation and generations to follow to know and understand where their music came from, and how it influenced and inspired the World's popular music.
