Belfast Vital 2024: Public Information Notice

PLEASE NOTE ALL TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

IMPORTANT: STRICTLY NO EARLY QUEUING OR CAMPING PERMITTED. IF PATRONS DO TURN UP EARLY, SECURITY AND THE PSNI WILL BE ON PATROL IN ADVANCE AND WILL TURN AWAY ANYONE ARRIVING EARLY AT THE VENUE. QUEUING AROUND THE VENUE CAUSES DISRUPTION AND WE APPEAL TO PATRONS TO HEED THIS ADVICE AND RESPECT THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.

 

THINGS TO KNOW

• Due to health and safety, there are strictly no camping/collapsible chairs/ stools permitted in the venue. Please do not bring these items as security will have to refuse you entry with them.

• This event will take place rain, hail or shine. Please check the weather forecast and dress accordingly for Irish weather – think wellies, boots or runners, layers, raincoats/ponchos and suncream but remember no umbrellas.

• There are a number of entry points to the site on Boucher Road. Please use the one most convenient for you.

• Strict security checks will be in operation. Everyone will be subject to a search permissible under law, per Purchase Policy. It is a condition to entry, to protect everyone’s safety. Additional searches may take place once inside the venue.

• Patrons are especially advised not to bring large bags/backpacks as they may experience delays or be refused entry. There will be no storage facilities on-site. Any items left at entrances / in surrounding areas will be removed and disposed of accordingly.

• Bags larger than A4, glass or cans, umbrellas, alcohol, garden furniture, selfie sticks, flares, professional cameras and audio recording equipment will not be permitted. See the full list of prohibited items on Prohibited Items | MCD.ie.

• Obey the stewards, the PSNI and instructions given over the public address for your own safety.

• There are no re-admissions to the concert. If you leave, there is no re-entry.

• Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission without refund to anyone who fails to comply with these T&Cs, as agreed by customer and per Ticketmaster Purchase Policy.

• Don’t rush to exits after the concerts.

 

TRANSPORT

Plan and book your return travel arrangements in advance, allowing at least an extra 2 hours travel time to and from the venue. As traffic delays are inevitable you are strongly encouraged to walk and use public transport. Promoters do not operate transport to/from the venue, this is a matter for customers to arrange in advance.

Translink - Vital Boucher Road Playing Fields

• BY RAIL: No rail service between Belfast and Lisburn. Rail special trains operating from Lisburn and Lanyon Place Train Stations.
Bus substitution services will be in operation from Lisburn (Portadown line) and Lanyon Place (all other lines) Train Stations to Belfast to connect with Metro and Ulsterbus services. It is essential to pre-book in advance to ensure travel on buses.
Bus transfers will operate after the event from Kennedy Way until 11:30pm (near WestWoods Shopping Centre on the far side of Stockman’s Lane).

• BY BUS: Metro and Ulsterbus services operating as normal along Lisburn Road to Kings Hall/Balmoral. Metro 9B services will be operating additional services.

• BY COACH: Goldliner Coach Specials will operate between Derry~Londonderry and Boucher Road. Bookings must be made here in advance.

• BY CAR: Please use public transport. NO parking at venue - use city centre car parks.

 

TICKET COLLECTIONS

Ticketmaster box offices will be located at the entrance to the site on Boucher Road.

 

AGE POLICY

Over 16’s show. Up to two under-16’s can be accompanied by a parent/ guardian over 25, who accompany them at all times and take full responsibility for them. Strict age monitoring in place. Unaccompanied under 16’s will be refused entry without refund. All attendees must have a ticket. Recommended no under 5’s.

 

ADDITIONAL ACCESSIBLE REQUIREMENTS

We cannot amend or move any ticket bookings, but if you are attending on general admission tickets and would benefit from an accessible accommodation, you can request it here: Outdoor Accessibility Requests | MCD.ie.
Please note, all forms close 7 days out from event date. Accessible ticket holders do not need to contact us. They will be contacted directly regarding accessible parking / drop-off locations. All accessible parking must be arranged in advance.
